Surahammar Manor

Surahammar Manor, a country house in the heart of Västmanland in Sweden, is a study and conference centre used for educational and developmental activities for the young and old.

Throughout the year, courses, meetings, seminars and spiritual retreats are held at the Manor. The beautiful surroundings of the house are conducive to calm, relaxation and reflection.

About

Surahammar Manor is run by Stiftelsen Ateneum whose aim is the promotion of personal development.

The activities are designed to give those interested the opportunity to develop as a person and to expand their knowledge and skills in different areas.

Educational activities, built upon a Christian view of humanity, are open to people of all denominations and ideologies.

Surahammars Herrgård is a forum for enriching dialogue leading to respect for the freedom of others and to an open attitude to the opinion of others.

The spiritual activities are entrusted to Opus Dei, a Catholic institution for pastoral care. Its goal is to spread the message that work and the circumstances of everyday life provide opportunities to meet God, serve others and improve society.
